Artistic Roller Sports Committee
The artistic sports committee administers the sport of Artistic Roller Skating.
The sport incorporates the following sections:
- Precision Skating
Precision comprises of teams of skaters performing various group formations and movements
choreographed to a music theme.
- Figure Skating
The artistic and skilful skating of compulsory edges incorporating various turns around a figure eight
template
- Freeskating Singles
The 'free' skating of 'content items' such as jumps, spins and footwork in relation to music.
- Freeskating Pairs
The 'free' skating in pairs (male/female) of 'content items' such as lifts, jumps, spins and footwork in
relation to music.
- Dance Skating Pairs
Dance skating pairs (male/female) incorporates the skating of 'compulsory' dances as well as Original
Dance (OD) and Free Dance.
- Solo Dance Skating
Solo dance incorporates the execution of Compulsory Dances and Creative Solo Dance (CSD),
skated solo.
