Why do I need to become an accredited artistic coach?
This is a sports specific requirement. All countries are requiring their coaches to be accredited.
Its a SPARC requirement that coaches are sports specific accredited. There were also CANZ exams available in the past but not available now. These exams covered subjects such as fitness, psychology, nutrition, body functions, etc. The Artistic Committee are looking into introducing a similar non specific paper.
You will have access to your pupils at the New Zealand Championships in the ‘marshalling area’.
What do I have to do to become accredited?
You need to apply to the Artistic Committee who will arrange for you to complete a paper and you will be advised of the outcome. You need to contact :

These is a small fee of $20 for this paper.
